About me
My desire for policy making has arisen from my voluntary commitment. You can improve the life with your voluntary work, but it reaches its limits – at some point policy makers have to act! I learned that in the negotiation for the Munich Student Ticket: We fought for a good ticket price for all students, but the final decision is made by politics.
That’s why I want to do politics: I want to change these political frameworks in the Bavarian State Parliament for an ecological, social and European future!

My Way
I grew up in a small village called Kalt (Rheinland-Palatinate). My interest in politics started in my school time. First as a class representative, later as a district pupil representation: I fought for the interests of my classmates.
After I started my studies in chemistry in Munich, I began my engagement at the student representation. I stood up for better study conditions at the campus Großhadern/ Martinsried, fought as the director from the student representation for a good semester ticket or accompanied as the student senator the progression of the entire Ludwig-Maximilians-University.
Now I fight in the Bavarian State Parliament for a green, equitable and livable Bavaria.

Why in the Bavarian State Parliament?
The state parliament is close to the people. Everyone is affected by state politics: Whether in educational policy for schools and university or regarding the culture policy. I want to improve people’s everyday lives. As the spokesperson for European affairs of the Green Group, I would like to bring European decisions closer to the citizens of Bavaria. I am convinced that Bavaria's future lies in a strong and self-confident European Union.

When everyday life is stressful…
When everyday life is stressful, then I love to go hiking in nature. If the time is not enough for a hike, I make a training session with Freeletics. Otherwise, I like to read books and drink a cup of green tea.
During the election campaign, my volunteer election campaign team supported me, now my team in the state office undertakes this task.

Spokesman for European politics
Bavaria is located in the heart of Europe, has a common border with two EU-neighbors and a long common history with other European countries. The State of Bavaria offers a home to many people born in other parts of Europe and the world. Europe guarantees freedom, security and peace!
In the face of the imminent climate crisis, the European Union still needs to make stronger efforts in the area of climate protection and ecology, but social justice and human rights are also important issues of our time. Bavaria's future lies in a united and strong Europe!
The state parliament is a link between the people of Bavaria and the European Union. As a European-political spokesman for the Green Group, I want to bring the EU closer to the people. Conversely, I am also the mouthpiece for citizens' interests vis-à-vis the European Union. To this end, I work closely with the Green MEPs in the European Parliament.
In the committee for federal and European affairs as well as regional relations of the Bavarian state parliament I fight for a closer cooperation between our immediate neighbors and for social justice throughout Europe.
